Summary

Qurbani (Where Most Needed)

Story

As every year, we are organising Qurbani for some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. Your Qurbani will be delivered where the need is greatest — to families who rarely, if ever, have the opportunity to eat meat throughout the year.

For many struggling families, Eid ul Adha is the only time they are able to enjoy a proper meat meal. Children wait eagerly for these blessed days, and your Qurbani brings not only food, but joy, dignity and relief.

We are offering the following Qurbani options:

  • Sheep — £100
  • Cow — £910 total
(7 shares at £130 per share)

These prices include a small amount towards rice and onions, for each family to have a proper meal on Eid.

You may donate towards a full cow or contribute as many shares as you wish.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“There is nothing dearer to Allah during the days of sacrifice than the sacrificing of animals.”
— Sunan al-Tirmidhi

He ﷺ also said:

“For every hair of the qurbani, you receive a reward from Allah.”
— Tirmidhi

Due to rapidly increasing livestock prices close to Eid, this appeal will remain open for ONE WEEK ONLY in order to secure the current prices, reserve the animals, arrange the butchers and organise the Qurbani process properly.

After this period, prices are expected to rise significantly and may even double closer to Eid.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever relieves a believer’s hardship of this world, Allah will relieve for him a hardship from the hardships of the Day of Resurrection.”
— Sahih Muslim

May Allah accept your Qurbani and allow it to be a means of relief and happiness for those most in need.

Please Note: Due to the changing circumstances and conditions on the ground, we reserve the right to substitute cow shares with sheep and/or food staple distributions where deemed more beneficial, practical or necessary for the affected communities. This ensures your donation reaches those most in need in the most effective way possible.
