Summary

Help support 40 Palestinian refugee orphans and special needs children in Jordan

Story

A Palestinian sister – herself a refugee and a widow – has opened a small school and day home for 40 orphaned and vulnerable children purely fi sabilillah.

These children suffer from severe challenges including:

  • Autism and ADHD
  • Learning difficulties and behavioural disorders
  • Mental health conditions
  • Physical disabilities
  • Some are non-verbal, constantly crying or screaming due to their conditions
  • Many have lost both parents, while others only have a widowed mother

Because they are Palestinian refugees without status in Jordan, they are not allowed in public schools or many public places. Without this small school, they would have no care, no education and no safe place to go.

A Lifeline Run Only on Charity

The sister running this centre has spent years taking these children in one by one — many arriving hungry, ill, dirty and with hardly any clothes.

Today the centre provides them with:

  • A safe place to stay and learn
  • Basic education and social development
  • Food, milk and clean water
  • Clothing and shoes
  • Medical support and daily care

The children range in age from 4 to 17 years old.

What Is Needed

It costs only £500 per month to keep this centre running and provide these children with:

  • At least one hot meal a day
  • Milk and nutrition
  • Basic medicines and medical supplies
  • Electricity and water bills
  • Clothes and shoes

Without ongoing support, this lifeline for 40 vulnerable children could close.

The Virtue of Caring for Orphans

Our beloved Prophet ﷺ said:

“The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this.”
(And he held his two fingers together) — Sahih Bukhari

Supporting these children is not just charity — it is a path to Jannah.

Please Help

Let us bring relief, care and dignity to these vulnerable children.

Your Sadaqah and Zakat can help provide them with food, warmth, medicine and a safe place to learn and grow.

Even a small contribution can help keep this refuge open for 40 orphaned children who have nowhere else to go.
