Feeding Uganda's most needy in 1447/2026
The blessed month of Ramadan is a time of mercy, generosity, and multiplied reward. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward.”
— Jami` at-Tirmidhi
For many vulnerable families in Uganda, fasting is not only an act of worship—it is a daily struggle against hunger. Widows, orphans, the elderly, and those living with disabilities often have little to break their fast with.
Through this appeal, we aim to provide nourishing Iftar and Suhoor meals to approximately 300 of the most poor and needy individuals. Each meal includes staple and sustaining foods such as rice, meat, and fruit/dates, ensuring families have the strength to fast and worship with dignity.
Your support can make an immediate and meaningful impact:
£150 covers one full day of Iftar and Suhoor for up to 300 people.
By contributing, you are not simply providing food—you are sharing in their fast, easing hardship, and bringing comfort to those who need it most. This is an opportunity to earn ongoing reward while spreading hope in Ramadan.
Give generously. Feed the fasting. Care for the orphan. Earn the reward.
