Urgently need a medical bed for an uncle who suffered massive stroke with severe brain damage, left him speechless and fully paralysed
Our uncle has suffered a massive stroke four weeks ago, that left him with severe brain damage, inability to speak and fully paralysed.
He urgently need a medical bed to make it easy for him and for his elderly wife, who is his sole carer.
He had always been a hard working man providing for his family. During the Balkan wars they were forced to leave their home, which was in predominantly non Muslim area. Upon retirement his wife and himself, both in their late 60ies, have been struggling and surviving by farming and cultivating land. He is still awaiting his pension decision. They cannot afford basics, let alone any therapy.
They are both very old and frail. She has been struggling to look after him properly and she has to wait on neighbours mercy to come around and give her a hand to move him, change him ect. To ease his pain and in order for him to be looked after properly and also to make it easy for his wife to move him around, feed him, help him relieve himself ect they really need a medical bed which will be of great help.
