Story
You will remember our sister who had womb and ovarian cancer last year. The operation to remove her womb and ovaries, basically full hysterectomy, hadn't been successful, and she had been bleeding to death.
There was a part of cancer left that is too dangerous to remove. So far, she's had received 18 targeted chemo therapies, 1 therapy every 3 weeks, and each costs £800.
So far, she's sold everything she owns to pay for her chemo therapies totaling over £14 000.
Elhamdulillah, we have collected for several targeted therapies for her. The other ones in between were paid in full by a single donors, may Allah swt reward them immensely. Ameen ya Rabbena.
It was thought that her cancer was beaten and even though the therapies left her extremely ill and weak, she had slowly returned to her normal life and even began to work in January this year.
However, after her routine check up yesterday she has received a devastated news: the cancer has metastasized and spread to her diaphragm and liver!
And even though she is saying "Elhamdulillah ala kulli haal, I don't want to complain ...", she is in absolute emotional and physical and mental turmoil. She is devastated.
The only way to save her life is to take these targeted therapies again and she is forced to ask for help again.
For now she needs 5 targeted therapies, 1 every 3 weeks without a fail. Each therapy costs £700.
She's only got a 14 year old son who's pleading with us to help save his mother's life.
