Help a single mum with two children
She has just fled Kosovo with her life and two little ones, escaped an extremely abusing husband and marriage.
Little ones, a three year old boy and a two year old girl.
She has worked very hard to save her marriage and invested all her hard work, time and efforts into her husband's home. After years of physical, mental and emotional abuse, she could not bear it any more and she decided her children will not grow up in that dysfunctional environment. Unfortunately, men in south east parts of Balkans still live and behave like it is 11th century!
The scars on her body cannot even compare with the scars on her heart and soul.
She has lost everything. Like a refugee. She has been given a couple of cold, empty, unfurnished rooms. She needs basics, like washing machine, cooker, fridge, beds, couch, table, carpet, plates, clothes.
I know her personally. She is my tajweed teacher. She has been teaching hundreds of students over the years for free. But she is too proud and embarrassed for anyone to know her situation. She made me promise I would not tell anyone about her situation, so I cannot tell anyone who knows her, but I can tell you. Can we possibly sit idle and do nothing about our sister in such a desperate hour of need?
Please let's help her stand back on her feet with the basics she needs for her children. We can only imagine how she feels, all alone. Let's help her before Ramadan so she can at least have a blessed and peaceful Ramadan.
